Privacy Policy for Quba: Muslim Prayer Times

Last updated: May 2026

Quba: Muslim Prayer Times ("Quba", "the app", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses, how it is used, and your rights. The short version is simple: Quba does not collect, store, or share any personal data.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information from you. Quba has no user accounts, no servers that store your data, and no third party analytics or advertising trackers.

Location

Quba uses your device location solely to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla direction for where you are. This happens entirely on your device using Apple's Core Location services. Your location is never transmitted to us, stored on a server, or shared with any third party.

You can revoke location access at any time in your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Quba.

Notifications

Prayer time reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's User Notifications framework. No notification content or scheduling information is sent to us or any third party.

Data Stored on Your Device

Settings, prayer tracking history, and tasbih counts are stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud on your iPhone, this data may be synced privately through your personal iCloud account — we never have access to it. Uninstalling the app removes all on device data.

Children's Privacy

Quba is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
