We built RTO Advantage a student portal that gives their learners one place to get things done. Students can reach their course material, talk to classmates, and keep track of where they're up to without digging through emails or paperwork. It's the sort of tool you log into once and actually want to come back to.

Challenge

RTO Advantage wanted a student portal that felt modern and made sense the moment a student opened it. The design had to be clean, the features had to be easy to find, and the whole thing had to back up one simple idea: study should feel manageable, not overwhelming.
  • Build a student management system that's easy to use and works just as well on a phone,
    so students can get in from whatever device they happen to have on them.
  • Bring the day to day student management tools together in one spot,
    including attendance, grades, and messaging,
    so staff spend less time on admin and students stay in the loop.
  • Give students a good reason to actually use it, so they keep up with what's going on,
    work with their classmates, and get more out of their course.

Solution &
Result

We started by sitting down with the RTO Advantage team to understand how they actually run things and what their students were finding fiddly. That meant a fair bit of back and forth, and it's where most of the good decisions came from.
From there we shaped a student portal that fit the way they work, cut down the admin load, and made it easier for students to keep on top of their studies.

Connects up with the tools they already run.
